William Reichow

William A. Reichow "Bill" age 84, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Hastings, Minnesota, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who had a wonderful sense of humor. He worked for 3M for more than 20 years as a tool and die maker, from which he later retired. In his free time he enjoyed camping, square dancing, biking, fixing things in his workshop and bird watching. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by son, Mark; parents, Edwin and Helen; and brother, Edward. Survived by wife of 63 years, Ardelle; children, David, Mary (John) Holeman, Cynthia (Mark) Goldstein, Bill (Sue), and Kathleen (Mark) Ryan; grandchildren, Christie, Ben, Matt, Jeff, Bob, Alex, Joel, Kayla, and Jack; great grandchildren, Victor, Walter, Joseph, Ashley, Nakeya, Lola, and Julia; and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation is at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park, followed by a private family funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Newport Cemetery, Newport, Minnesota.
