William "Butch" John Koubele Jr.

William "Butch" John Koubele, 83, of Newport, MN, passed away on June 8, 2024. He was born on November 19, 1940, in St. Paul, MN. Butch was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend who cared deeply for everyone.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, his son Brian (Sheryl), his daughter Brenda, his granddaughters Alexis, Samantha, and Jenna, as well as his sisters Alice, Marion (Roland), brother Phillip (Sandy), and sister Karen (Cyrus). William was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and William Sr.

William, also known as Butch, retired from John Deere after a successful career. In his free time, he enjoyed his love of cars and working in his beloved garage. Also, his monthly trips to the shooting range with his son. 

A service to celebrate Butch's life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN 55071 on Monday, June 24^th. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served thereafter.

Butch will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
