Willard W. Anderson
Willard, a long time resident of Cottage Grove, was born February 7, 1936 in Duluth MN and at the age 78 passed away peacefully on March 6, 2014 at the Regina Medical Center in Hastings.
A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm on March 15, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park.
He is survived by his wife Rose, children Kim (Rose), Jon (Amber), Greg (Kay), Brian (Jenny), many Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Willard was preceded in death by his parents Mabel and Willard Sr.
Bill loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He had many hobbies, including tinkering on his 1966 Volkswagen Bug, spending time "Up North", and visiting East Side Auto. He liked to fish and ride his four-wheeler. After he retired, he and his wife spent many afternoons enjoying the restaurants in the surrounding cities. He retired after 40 years of serving the MSP Airport. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Special thanks to Bill's nurses at Regina Hospital in Hastings for the special care they provided.
