She was born in Oakland, CA at the US Naval Hospital; grew up in St. Paul Park, MN; spend a lot of time in Superior & Poplar, WI as a child and young adult; Graduated from St. Paul Park High School in 1974. She served in the US Army Reserves. She enjoyed being a grandmother, going to rummage sales, trading stocks, and surfing the internet an e-mailing on her web t.v.
Wende is survived by her sons Kyle (Sandie) Thompson of Eau Claire, WI, Joel Thompson of St. Paul; daughter Danielle Thompson of St. Paul; grandsons Ethan Thompson & Austin Jarvis; her mother Diane (Harold) Dahlgren-Bechtel of Webster, WI; sister Ronda (Kevin) Dalbec of Superior, WI; brother Lawrence Borg of Minneapolis; nephew Nathan Dalbec of Superior, WI; step-mother Carol Borg; step-sister Victoria Hanner; step-brother Ray Borg all of St. Paul Park; aunts Judy (Tom) Jonasen, Fran Carlson, Bernice Weaver, Jeanette Levin; uncle David (Jean) Frank and many cousins and special friends. Wende was preceded in death by her father Larry Borg; grandma Ruth Borg; Grandma Anne Frank; her step-brother Jeff Borg; her cousin Jill Hunker and Boots, her dog.
