Wayne Dally

Wayne Merlyn Dally, age 86, of Cottage Grove, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Phelps); mother, Minnie Oakley Dally; father, Benjamin F. Dally; brothers, Leland and Dale; sister, Laurene; daughter-in-law, Susan Dally; and son-in-law, Jim Wyburn.  Survived by children, Denise Wyburn, David, Jody (Panagiotis) Antoníou, Rebecca (Steve) Peek, and Scott; grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, Benjamin, Lindsey, Heidi, Jenna, Anastacía, Nikolétta, Rob, Erin, Angelique, and Samantha; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Elinor and Evelyn; many nieces and nephews; and loving friends.

Wayne was born on March 1, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa.  He married his forever sweetheart on June 10, 1951.  Wayne retired from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Agronomy Services in 1998. God and family were most important in his life.  He was a man of great faith, intelligence and integrity who enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing violin, guitar, ukulele and other instruments.   He loved to sing and was a talented musician and artist. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Reunited with his lifelong love, Patricia, they are together for eternity.

Celebration of Life 10:30 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM, Friday, March 8, 2019 at Crossroads Church, 5900 Woodbury Drive, Woodbury, MN, 55129. Private family interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
