Walter Kessler

Walter (Wally) E. Kessler Age 85, died on May 2nd 2016. Wally was born on May 27th, 1930 in Wilmer, PA to John Sr. and Florence (Riely). He was a U.S. Army Sergeant and a Korean War Veteran. While serving in the Army, Wally met and married Berenice Quittem on November 1st, 1951. Wally retired from Cenex Corporation. Wally was a member of the "Kountry Kousins" Country & Western/Polka music band with Tony Buss. He also was a member of the Wee Willie Band.
Wally is survived by sons Craig and Brian(Mary), daughter Susan (Don) Schlomka, sisters Norma Ritschard and Edith Lightcap, six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Wally is preceded in death by his wife Berenice, brother John Jr., sister Francis Frame, infant son Keith and grandson Steven.
Visitation 4-7 Friday, May 6th at Kok Funeral Home (1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park) Interment Newport Cemetery, Newport, Minnesota. Memorials preferred to Southview Acres Health Care Center, West. St. Paul, Minnesota.
