Virginia "Jinny" Rowe

Virginia “Jinny” Rowe (Bahe) 83, of Hastings, MN passed away surrounded by her family on February 25, 2020 after a short illness.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Susan Spillman) Rowe of Encino, CA, Julie (Bob) Hicks of Hastings, Peggy (Mike) Reagan of Cottage Grove and Tim Rowe of Hastings; brother, Ivan (Carol) Bahe of Hastings; grandchildren, Jordan and Lily Rowe, Alex, Grant (Paige) and Sam Hicks, Angie (Cory) Eller, Max and Mitch Reagan, Lindsey (Lance) Lisowski, Jenna (Pat) DeBaere, Nora Giefer, Robbie and Maddie Rowe; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Annie Eller, Logan, Landon and Lauren Lisowski and Kinsley DeBaere; nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Myra (Fritze) Bahe, sister and brother-in-law, Karla (Bahe) and Roger Duff.

Jinny worked at Polka Dot Dairy/Tom Thumb stores for 36 years as an executive assistant.  Her focus and top priority was her family. Jinny was an avid gardener, fabulous cook, superb baker and first-class seamstress. She was incredibly kind and loved to spend time with both lifelong and new friends.

Visitation Friday, March 6, 2020, 5-8 PM, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St. Hastings, MN.  Celebration of Life, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Luke’s with visitation beginning at 10 AM.
