Virginia “Ginny” Vibo, 68 of Cottage Grove, died Sunday afternoon, December 13, 2009 at the HealthEast Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury following declining health.
Virginia “Ginny” Vibo was born December 14, 1940 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry G. and Leila (Stevens) Schneider. She was raised in the Lake Owasso area and following high school attended cosmetology school. She was united in marriage to Valdur Vibo on July 22, 1967 in Saint Paul. The couple made their home in Cottage Grove. Early in life she had worked as a hairdresser and later became self-employed as a day care provider. She had in later years worked at Armstrong Elementary with the Rainbow Kids Child care Program.
Ginny is survived by her daughter, Traci Vibo of Cottage Grove. She was Valdur, her parents and her brother, James.
