Viola Catherine Brisse Duncan

Of Woodbury, Cottage Grove, and Minneapolis, went home to her beloved God and family on July 14, 2016. Preceded in death by son Harley John Duncan, parents John W. and Mary Meyer Brisse; brothers Elmer "Lou" Brisse (Dorothy) and Melvin "Mel" Brisse (Charlotte "Chuckie"); sisters Celine Brisse Leyendecker (Clarence) and Lillian Brisse Weirens (Norbert); niece Charmelle Brisse and nephews Stephen Brisse and Richard Weirens. Survived by daughters Judith Duncan and Rebecca Duncan and son Bryan Duncan (Cheng Tao); granddaughters Lisa Mead (Rodney); Tami Tenhoff (Jim Johnsen); grandsons Bryan ("Joe") Duncan and Tory Duncan; great grandchildren: Justin, Savanna, Spencer, Arianna, and Maddison Mead and Cameron Duncan. Also, nieces and nephews many of whom celebrated Viola's 100th birthday with her and her family, on May 14, 2016. Her actual birthday was May 11.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at The Catholic Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Hts., MN.
