Vernon S. Tweet, age 83, of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully on November 5, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Lois; children, Michael (Cathy), Jerry (Theresa), Richard (Caron), Jeanne, Jody Doree (Dan), and Jim (Melanie); eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation 10-11 AM, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, with Memorial Service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Memorials preferred.
