After spending over 40 years as a machinist, Vern retired from Northwest Airlines in 2006. He then attended Hennepin Technical College for small engine repair and used his knowledge and technical experience to start “Vern’s small engine repair.” He thoroughly enjoyed retirement by traveling the world with his wife, Pam and spending quality time at their cabin on Lake Miltona. He took special joy in his grandchildren, spending time with family and of course…the social and competitive aspects of poker tournaments. He was dearly loved and will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
