Timothy Coakley

Timothy Richard Coakley, age 76, of Bella Vista, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2016. He died at home surrounded by family members who loved him dearly. He was born April 20, 1939 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late William and Frances Coakley. He moved from Oakdale, Minnesota to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 2000.

Tim served in the National Guard and retired from North Star Steel where he worked for 30 years as a crane operator. He is a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He enjoyed many hobbies including: bowling, gardening, camping and traveling. He never met a stranger.

Tim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ivia Coakley of the home; five children, Lisa (Michael) Kemp of Oakdale, Minnesota, John (Jaime) of Jordan, Minnesota, Mary Jo (Donna) Rhein of Bella Vista, Arkansas, James Rhein of Oakdale, Minnesota and Patricia (Michael) Timmers of Stillwater, Minnesota; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas (June) of Hastings, Minnesota and William (Karen) of Cannon Falls, Minnesota and former spouse Dorothea Coakley.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 11, 2016 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Avenue, St. Paul Park. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park and also one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove.
