Thomas Delsing

Thomas E. Delsing, beloved husband, father & grandfather, age 65, of Cottage Grove, formerly of Afton. Died February 13, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint Paul. Thomas Eugene Delsing was born November 6, 1941 in Riverside, California the son of Eugene and Ann (Freiseis) Delsing. He was raised in Saint Paul and graduated from Cretin High School and the University of St. Thomas. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On July 21, 1972 he married Roberta Louise Beaulieu. He retired in 1999, after 34 years, from the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Thomas enjoyed auto mechanics and motorcycle repair. He had a great love for reading, the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and skiing. Survived by his wife, Roberta "Bobbi", his daughters, Danielle (Brent) Koller of Stillwater and Denise Delsing of Minneapolis. Grandchildren Julia and John. Two sisters, Rene, (Michael) McMonigal of Plymouth/Atwater and Lynda (Steve) Nelson of Linwood. Two brothers, Michael (Kathy) Delsing of North Saint Paul and Gene (Rose) Delsing of White Bear Lake. Preceded death by his parents, Eugene and Ann.
