Theresa Bonnette

of Afton died peacefully at home on March 8, 2010 .

She was born December 8, 19 25 the daughter of Leo & Ellen (Walsh) Briol. Theresa graduated from Melrose High School . In 1953 she was united in marriage with Gerald Stanley Bonnette. Theresa was a sculptor and a teacher who enjoyed children, nature and politics. She supported MCCL and the prolife movement. Theresa will be remembered for her deep devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; brother John Briol, sister Leonella (Burt) Mulville; sister-in-law Marcella Briol; brothers-in-law Harold Nelson & Charles Templin.

She is the beloved mother of Gerard (Joni), Anna (Magnus) Kugler, Joseph (Imelda), Andrew (Josie), Sarah, Michael (Teja); grandmother of Ruth, Anna, Mike (Emily), Alisha, Sarah, Catherine (Jacob), Theresa, Joseph, Alexander, Joven, Ashard, Maya, Saphora; great-grandmother of Eli, Hector, Alejandra, Jesse, Odin; sisters and brother Mary Ellen Nelson, Margie (Jerry) Gartner, Edward (Mary) Briol, Anna Templin; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday March 12 with gathering beginning at 9 AM at ST. RITA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH , 8694 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove .
