Terry B. Jansen, 35, of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 27, 2007.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007 at St. Rita?s Catholic Church with the Reverend Bill Deziel, officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Kok Funeral Home, Cottage Grove.
Terrence B. Jansen was born January 14, 1972 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of James Charles and Helen Marie (Sandkamp) Jansen. He grew up on the family farm in Cottage Grove and graduated from Park High School in 1990. He went on to attend St. Paul Technical College. He had been employed as an electrician for Cities Electric for many years. Terry was a wonderful caretaker to his mother, enjoyed farming, running machinery and sports. He especially enjoyed his family, spending time and taking an interest in them.
Terry was the beloved son of Jim & Helen Jansen of Cottage Grove, the loving brother of Carla Jansen (Brian Johnson) of Oakdale, Joe (Donna) Jansen of Inver Grove Heights, Pat (Deidre) Jansen of Cottage Grove and the fun loving uncle of Alexandra, Erica & Kaitlin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
