Terrence James Kelley was born May 19, 1930 in Minneapolis, the son of Claude & Cora (Moen) Kelley. He was raised in ST. Paul and graduated from Murray High School in 1948. On June 18, 1955 he was united in marriage with Mary Elaine Kavanagh at the Cathedral of St. Paul.

Terry was a people person who enjoyed cribbage and bowling leagues, music, golf, playing piano and going to the lake. He was past president of MTC Retirees association. He will be remembered for his love of animals. He loved his brandy manhattans and was very fond of Tinucci's.

He is the beloved husband of Elaine; father of Tim (Julie), Kristen (Tommy) Prochaska (Dalsted), Barbara (Jim) Stockburger, Patty (Joe) Schmit, Katie (Mitch) Dayton, Paul (Lynn); grandfather of Mindy (Matt) Lindeman, Stephen (Katie), Michael & Erin Kelley; J.D. (Jeffrey), Trevor & Phillip Dalstad; Amy Kelley, Heidi (Mike) Malander, Adam Richert; Joe Schmit, Maria (Jason) Bergerson, Matt Schmit; Jonathan Dayton, Elizabeth (Nick) Fava, Christine (Hans) Hafen, Kelley Dayton, Annie Dayton; Cheyenne Checchini, Fernando Kelley; great-grandchildren Lexi, Jamie, Casey, Stephen Jr., Aidan, James, Nicky, Jeanivieve; many nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday with visitation starting at 9:30 AM at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Inurnment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
