Takeko Simpson, age 64, died Sunday evening April 25, 2010 in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
Takeko was born October 11, 1945 in Sai Pan, Marianna Islands to Gashin & Kame (Irei) Tamaki. She graduated from Kokusai University in 1971 in Koza, Okinawa, Japan. Takeko worked for the F.A.A., the Federal Air Marshal Service, and Northwest/Delta Airlines. She enjoyed gardening and was involved in the Okinawa community.
She is survived by her husband Robert; children Robert, David (Triah); 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers and a sister.
Visitation 4-7 PM with a 7 PM Funeral Service Thursday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park (651-459-2875).
