Born on November 8, 1969, to Loren and Phyllis Hagness, Suzie was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter to everyone she encountered. Suzie graduated from Park High School in 1988. She discovered her expertise in dental technology and dedicated several years to honing her skills in the field. It was during this time that Suzie's path crossed with the one who would become the love of her life, Scott Donnelly, at the Old Cottage Grove softball fields. Their deep connection and shared love led to their marriage on June 16, 2001.
Suzie's competitive nature shone brightly through her participation in various sports, including softball, gymnastics, and swimming. Her fearlessness and adventurous spirit were evident in her love for the outdoors. Suzie's true happy place was always near the water, whether it was boating or simply soaking up the sun on sandy beaches. The ocean held a special place in her heart, as its vastness and beauty captivated her soul.
Described as adventurous, spunky, fiery and loving, Suzie was known for her infectious sense of humor and witty jokes. Her genuine nature touched the lives of many, and her generous spirit was boundless. She had a deep love for animals, particularly rescue dogs, which she showered with warmth and affection. She also found solace in the company of birds and admired their graceful flight and joyful songs.
Recently, Suzie rekindled her passion for art, allowing her creativity to flow freely as a form of self-expression. Through her artwork, she was able to capture the beauty she saw in the world around her and bring it to life on canvas.
Suzie will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Scott; son Colby; stepchildren Lora (Brandon) and Ryan; step-grandchildren Brooklyn and Brayden; siblings Randy, Perry, Terry (Shannon); nieces and nephews Justin, Jenna, Danny, Abby, Lily and Alyssa and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and the impact she made during her time on earth will continue to resonate with those whose lives she touched.
