Susan Jean Roubinek

Susan "Sue" Roubinek, age 64, of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 surrounded by family.

Memorial service will be 11 AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Kok Funeral Home 7676 80th Street S.; Cottage Grove, MN with visiation from 10-11 AM prior to service. All are invited to a luncheon following service. Private interment will take place at Cottage Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove, MN. 

Sue was born on March 23, 1960 to John and Marilyn (O' Donnel) Anderson in Hastings, MN. She grew up in St. Paul and later met the love of her life, Timothy Roubinek while working together at Brown & Bigelow. They were united in marriage on May 31, 1986. Tim and Sue settled in Cottage Grove, MN in 1995 to raise their family and have remained lifelong residents. 

Sue enjoyed reading, watching "Classic Oldies", being involved in church activities and interior decorating her home through the years. Ultimately, the heart of her life revolved around her faith and family. She will be deeply missed by all.

Sue is survived by her husband Timothy "Tim"; children Lauren and Ryan; father John Anderson; siblings Dawn Anderson, Linda (Joe) Spurgeon, Paul (Nicki) Anderson, Dennis Anderson, Melissa Anderson and Karen (Brian) Clayton as well as many nieces and nephews. Susan is preceded in death by her mother Marilyn Anderson and sister-in-law Karen Anderson.
