Susan Pennington

Susan D. Pennington, 61 of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully in her sleep May 6, 2017. Susan was born April 6, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Ludwig & Bernice(Berglund)Woog. She grew up near Carver Lake and graduated from Tartan High School in 1974. After high school Sue started working for Bell South and retired from from Century Link in 2009 after 36 years of service. Sue loved Nascar, gardening, spending quality time with her grandchildren swimming, BBQ's, or telling stories around the bonfire. She was a true friend to many and cherished her lifelong friends and the friends she made along the way in her life journey including Connie and Kelly from Tom Moy.
Preceded in death by parents, Edward & Bernice Yelle, Ludwig Woog. Survived by loving daughters, Nicole and Ashley; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tymira, Darius, Brandon, and Ra'niya; best friends, Carole, Cindy, Cheryl, Dan and Jean.
Visitation 11-1, Friday, May 12 at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S.) with a time of sharing at 1 pm. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood. Memorials preferred.
