Steven Leon

Steven G. de Leon 56 of Cottage Grove formerly of S. St. Paul, died August 2, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Survived by loving wife of 28 years Diana "Jo", children Shide, Steven Jr., Samuel, Joshua; grandchildren Alexis, Shaun, ShiAnn, Brooklyn, Alexis, Macy, Elena; parents Alfonso & Lucille; siblings Michael (Joann) Terence (Sharon), Timothy (Marilyn), Donald, Susan (Chris) Hussman, Elizabeth; parents in law Marilyn & John Shalloe; brothers and sisters in law Debra Mendez, Jena Rosati, Richard Milovich, Terri (Mario) Rojas, Michael (Beth) Milovich; many other relatives and friends; furry companions Jasmine, Emma.
Steve was a stay at home dad, mentoring his boys and nephews along the way. He enjoyed coaching hockey, baseball and football. He was an avid outdoorsmen, Harley Davidson enthusiast, N.H. R.A racing and Minnesota sports fan, but most of all loved to spend time with his close friends and family.
Mass of Christian Burial for Steve will be 11am Friday August 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1154 Seminole Ave. W. St. Paul) with a visitation starting at 10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
