Age 27, formerly of Cottage Grove passed away suddenly at his home in Temecula, California on July 6, 2013.
Steven was currently serving as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. He had honorably served his country in Afghanistan.
Steven graduated from Park High School in 2004. On July 30, 2010 he was united in marriage with Bryanna. Steven loved the Marine Corps and enjoyed woodworking and working in the garage he built.
Steven was preceded in death by grandparents Berenice Kessler, Donald Olaf Wang, aunt Diane Kay Wang.
Beloved husband of Corporal Bryanna "Bry"; loving son of Denise Kessler (Brent), Craig Kessler; brother of Lisa; uncle of Donald, Aryanna; nephew of Brian (Mary) Kessler, Susan (Donald) Schlomka, Karen (Jim) Benner; grandson of Walter Kessler, Fran Wang (Bob Kopren); many cousins, family & friends.
Visitation will be 2-6 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 Portland Ave. St. Paul Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
