Age 36, of Cottage Grove
Unexpectedly taken from us on January 17, 2014. Survived by loving wife of 17 years, Melissa (nee Skarda); children, Cody (16) and Callie (11); parents, Duane and Ellen of Aitkin, MN; In-laws, Mike and Debbie Skarda of Little Canada, MN; siblings, Annette (Robb) Reiser of Hurley, MS, Dan of Durand, WI, and Andy of Prescott, WI; nine loving nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Steve was a devoted family man. He was a hardworking, respected master plumber. He loved NASCAR, playing softball with his friends, and Harley riding. He was known for his kind and gentle soul and his willingness to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Visitation 5-8 pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove. Funeral Service 11 am, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Inverhills Church, 8265 Babcock Tr., Inver Grove Heights with visitation beginning at 10 am.
Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
