Star Tanner Cox

Star Looney Tanner Cox, 82, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, September 29, 2024. 

She is survived by her daughter, Scarlett Tanner Atkins, and son-in-law John W. Atkins, along with grandson, John Cole; her sons, Corbin Tanner and Brian Tanner, along with daughter-in-law Angela Snow Tanner and grandchildren Ryland and Cora; and her sisters, Brenda Hartsell and Karla Looney, and her brother, Lyle Looney.

A devoted mother and grandmother, she was born and raised in Missouri, and she spent the last 15 years of her life in Minnesota. Throughout her life, Star always emphasized the importance of family, nurturing connections and instilling the value of staying close. She built many meaningful friendships, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her through her genuine kindness and compassionate spirit.

By her wishes, a private memorial service will be held for the immediate family on a future date.

She will be deeply missed and forever remain in our hearts.
