Stanley Utsch

age 87 of Newport on Oct. 30, 2009 .

Stanley was born April 14, 19 22 in St. Martin , Minnesota the son of Herman & Margaret. He was raised in Roscoe , Minnesota . He grew up farming. He continued farming into adulthood. He worked side by side with his brother in construction and their own business. On June 28, 19 58 he was united in marriage with Shirley Hannigan. Stanley served in the Unites Sates Army during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking; especially making lawn ornaments.

Stanley was preceded in death by his wife Shirley. He is survived by children Barb (Ken) Terhurne, David (Bonnie), Richard; grandchildren Tyler, Cody, Riley; brothers and sisters Annie (Ralph) Fleishhacker, Arnie (Pat), Katie (Kenny) Albrecht, Ole (Joe) Kremer.

Funeral Service 12 Noon Tuesday with visitation starting at 10 AM at COTTAGE GROVE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 7008 Lamar, Cottage Grove . Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery .
