Stanley Shankey

Stanley C. Shankey, age 94 ½, of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully on July 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.

Preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Lora Mae, and granddaughter, Laura Jorgenson. Survived by children, William (Carol) Kiemele, Bonnie (Bob) Brings, Donna Balitz, Jean (Mike) Sullivan, Susan (Steve) Shipley, Robin (Bob) Carlson, and Nancy (Kevin) Jorgenson; fifteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral service 6 PM, Monday, July 21, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park with visitation beginning at 5 PM.

Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
