Shirley Sorg

Shirley J. Sorg, age 70, of St. Paul Park, passed away on October 1, 2015 at The Pillars Hospice House in Oakdale.

Graveside service will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Newport Cemetery (Intersection of Hastings Ave. and 65th Street S), Newport, MN.

She was preceded in death by her mother Edna McCoy; sisters Jackie and Ginny and brothers Billy and Tony. Shirley is survived by her fiancé Gerald Kruse; sisters Kathy (Dick) Clark of North Branch, MN, Ernestine Ramsey of WV, Ruthann (David) Stratton of Delbarton, WV, Nina (Tobert) Blackburn of So. Williamson, KY, Faye Jeffris of Clearwater, FL, Janie (Greg) Tennis of Hastings, MN; brothers Bud (Monica) McCoy of WV, Leo (Dee) of Alabama, Don (Ted) of FL, Eugene (Lillie) McCoy of KY, Junior (Tina) McCoy of WV. Special nieces Melissa Clark, Jessica (Chad) Purvis of MN, Dianne (Tom) Meier of Colorado, Minh Lelle of St. Paul, Ashley, NaCole and Katie Jeffris of FL; nephew Michael Lelle; great nieces Andra Matson, Alecia (Gage) Murkowski, Katelyn and Nikki Meier and Rowen Jeffris; great nephews Ben, Coen, Wyatt and Kaden. Shirley will be missed by her family and many loving friends.
