Shelda Edwards

Shelda Edwards, age 87, died Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Presbyterian Homes Cottage Grove, MN. Shelda was preceded in death by her husband Jack Newman Edwards, granddaughter Cassidy Edwards, father and mother Roy and Bessie Minear, brother Ronald Minear, sister-in-law Judy Minear and sister-in-law Kay Lowe. She is survived by her three sons Blake Edwards, Scott Edwards (Kathy) and Bryan Edwards (Ellen), as well as sister Shirley Brandser (Robert), sister-in-law Laurel Minear, and three grandchildren. Born in Unionville, MO but lived all over the USA due to her husband's profession. Shelda worked at hospitals in Des Moines, IA until retirement, moving to Cottage Grove, MN in 2008 to be near a son. She enjoyed living at Norris Square, had multiple friends she ate and played bingo with (including Mary Ann Atzmiller and Carol Yauch), and was well cared for in her senior years there. Shelda enjoyed music, reading, attending church, volunteering, and anything to do with her boys. No services are planned with a spring burial in Lemons, MO.
