of Cottage Grove suddenly on Monday morning February 4, 2008 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Sheila Lynn was born June 18, 1963 at Mounds Park Hospital in St. Paul the daughter of Ethel (nee Patnode) & Clarence Fischer. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Sheila was a Girl Scout leader in Newport. She loved to get together with family and friends. Sheila served in the United States Army and was a proud member of American Legion Post 98.
She is the beloved mother of Samantha Leslie Merrell; longtime partner of Les Merrell of Newport; cherished daughter of Clarence & Ethel Fischer of St. Paul Park; loving sister of Linda Morgan of Texas, Anna Werrbach of Cottage Grove, Clarence William Fischer Jr. of St. Paul Park; also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at Kok Funeral Home in St. Paul Park with Rev. Susanne Smith officiating.
