Sharon Marie Elling

Sharon Marie Elling passed away unexpectedly at home, at the age of 64 on 03/28/2023.

She was preceded in death by parents John & Jean Krysinski.

Survived by her husband of 27 years Ernie; sister, Bonnie (Mark); children, April (Jayme), Jon (Jamie), Jessica (Kent), Dusty (Vicki), Karl (Jessica); grandchildren, Lance (Megan), Brittney (Charlie), Reese, Cameron, Autumn, Zoe, Mason, Alyx, Chloe, Nora, Lauren, Lennox, Daxton, and Della. Also survived by her two wiener dogs Izzie and Annie.

She had a long career as the Head Cook at Hillside Elementary in CG from the 90's to her retirement in 2021.

Sharon's greatest joy in life was cooking and feeding people. If Sharon knew you and she liked you, she fed you.

She opened her home to many and lived in the same home in Cottage Grove since 1978. She often bragged to everyone about her 16 grandchildren.

She loved going to the Casino. She never met a meat raffle, she didn't win. Even though she was small she left a big hole, and will be missed every day.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 29th, from 1pm-7pm at Willie's Hidden "Harbor", 388 W 9th Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071.
