Sandy Abrahamson

Sandy Abrahamson, age 78, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025, surrounded by family in the care of Our Lady of Peace Hospice Home, St. Paul. 

Preceded in death by husband, Ollie; son, Shawn; parents, Bud and Lila Fritze; and brother, Gary Fritze. Survived by daughter, Shelly (Scott) Munos; grandchildren, Anthony Munos (fiancée, Rachel Rud), Rachel (Ethan) Peterson, and Marissa Munos (fiancé, Ben Meyer); and great-granddaughter, Sutton Peterson; brothers, Gene and Wally Fritze; special goddaughter, Brenda Herrmann; and other loving family and friends. 

Funeral Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, 7008 Lamar Ave S, Cottage Grove. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
