Sandra J. Berger (nee Staples), age 60, of Cottage Grove passed away on December 17, 2013. Survived by husband, Randy; daughters, Joanna (Mark) Hillmann and Teresa Nyblom; grandson, Rodney Wilson; brothers, Rick (Theresa) Staples, John (Renee) Staples, and Bob (Michelle) Staples; sister, Vicky (Wally) Christensen; numerous extended family; and a host of loving friends as well as her daycare children. Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Marlys Staples; brother, Roger Staples; In-laws, Fritz and Margaret; brother-in-law, Thomas.

Visitation 4-8 pm, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80TH St. S., Cottage Grove and continues one hour prior to service at church. Celebration of Life 10:30 am, Monday, December 23, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church, 8500 Hillside Trail, Cottage Grove. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred donations will be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
