75 of Woodbury formerly of Cottage Grove died peacefully on July 24, 2014 at Woodbury Estates, Woodbury, MN.
Born August 20, 1938 in Pine County, MN, to Garland & Ethel (nee:Von Busch) Lyseth. Sandra was raised in Cloverdale, Minnesota. On June 25, 1955 at the age of 16 she married Marlin "Bud" Rabe in Hinckley, Minnesota, they moved to East Cottage Grove in 1961 where they raised their family. Sandra returned to school and graduated from St. Paul Public Schools on June 5, 1964. Sandra was very active at her church Cottage Grove United Church of Christ from 1961 until just recently. She taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, started the church's farmers market, and was a conformation mentor.
Sandra was a phenomenal baker known best for her lemon meringue pie and cinnamon rolls. Her "signature" beef barley soup was a family favorite.

She is preceded in death by husband Bud; parents Garland & Ethel (nee:Von Busch) Lyseth; brother Sonny Lyseth; sister Kathaleen Russ.
Sandra is survived by loving children Morida and husband Mark Tinucci Sr.; Karen Rabe Schmidt, Teri and husband Jeff Daggit, Mark and wife Dawn; beloved grandchildren Rachel and husband Justin Bachman; Daniel Schmidt, Jared and wife Katie Daggit, Jenna and husband Jake Vorhies, Jaclyn Daggit, Mark Tinucci Jr., Megan and husband Kacey Kamara, Colton Rabe; precious great grandchildren Jack Henry, and Emilia Daggit, Emmanuel Kamara, Emmett Vorhies; siblings Darlene Johnson, Irene Bartel, Pat and husband Jim Guptill, Dianne and husband Alden Rabe; special sister in law Florence Lyseth. A heartfelt thanks for the loving care given to her by the staff at Woodbury Estates.
Funeral service celebrating Sandra's life will be 11am Monday at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ (7008 Lamar Ave) with a visitation 4-7 Sunday at the church and one hour prior to service Monday. Internment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
