Rosemary Aus

Rosemary Ann Aus, age 79 of Cottage Grove, passed away March 5, 2016 at her home under the care of her family and hospice.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove. Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials are preferred. A special thank you goes to Kelsey and the staff at Interim Hospice for their kindness and care given to our mom and our family.

Rosemary was born August 16, 1936 in Flandreau, South Dakota to Wallace and Esther (Carman) Dibben. She graduated from Flandreau High School in 1954 and went on to proudly serve in the US Air Force. On October 11, 1957 she was married to Emmett B. Aus in Pipestone, Minnesota. They made their home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota before moving to Cottage Grove in 1962.

Rosemary enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She looked forward to travelling to a variety of places with her sister Adele.

Rosemary is survived by her children, Cindy (Jim) Johnson, Kristi (Russ) Latterell, Lisa (Mark) Thomas and Greg; beloved grandmother to Alison, Alex, Sydney, Elisabeth, Anastasia, Lauren and Jake; siblings, Darrell Dibben, and Adele (Rod) Olssen; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett and also her parents.
