Rosemary Eva Anderson

Rosemary Eva (Fish) Anderson, 77, of Cottage Grove, MN, died unexpectedly on January 1, 2024. 

Born on August 18, 1946, and raised in Duluth, Rosie, as she was affectionately known, attended Duluth Cathedral High School and graduated in 1964.

Rosie married the love of her life, Dale Anderson, on April 16, 1966. Rosie and Dale spent time traveling around Europe while Dale was a member of the United States Air Force. Together, they raised three sons in Rosemount before settling in Cottage Grove.

Rosie enjoyed holidays with her family, entertaining, storytelling, British television shows and playing bingo. Rosie will be missed by many, including her amazing neighbors and good friends Ms. Alexa and Mr. Google.

Preceded in death by husband Dale, parents Frank and Margaret, brother Butch, and sisters Mary (Dave) and Kathy.

Survived by sons Todd, Sean (Korie), Dana (Lisa), granddaughter Hailey, step grandchildren Parker and Evy, beloved dog Andy, brothers Mike (Karin) and Pat (Carol), sister Muggs, sister-in-law Eileen as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Rosie will be reunited with Dale at Fort Snelling National Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
