Rosemarie Nelson

Rosemarie Ann Nelson, age 92 of St. Paul Park, MN, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022. She was born June 22, 1929, in St. Paul, daughter of Marie Hager and Herbert Kreuz. On March 25, 1950, she married Clinton Nelson and they went on to have six children, 20 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. Rosemarie enjoyed homemaking, traveling, woodworking, and gardening and will be remember for her wonderful cooking and baking and her feisty spirit.

She is survived by her children, Craig (Pam) Nelson, Colleen Miller, Tracy (Karla) Nelson, and Brett Nelson; grandchildren, Katie (Tarik) Nelson, Josh Nelson, Joe Nelson, Amanda (Mike) Nelson, Frank (Stacy) Nelson, Julie (Randy) Recob, Casey (Adam) DeGroot, Travis (Sarah) Nelson, Jodie Nelson, Kyle (Kayla) Nelson, Jake (Kenzie) Nelson, Hannah Nelson, Rose Nelson, Holly (Brian) Lockhart, Laura (Nate) Nelson, Dan (Kim) Nelson, Steve (Alicia) Nelson, and Jerry Nelson; brother, Gene (Joan) Kreuz; sister, Karen (Mike) LeJeune; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Nelson; sons, Kerry Nelson and Kevin Nelson; son-in-law, Earl Miller; and grandchildren, Marie Nelson and Jeremy Nelson.

A funeral service will be held at St. Andrews’s Lutheran church (1000 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park) on Thursday, May 5. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at noon.
