Rose Wilhelmy

Rose Barbara Wilhelmy, age 103 of Newport Minnesota Died peacefully on September 20, 2014 in her home under the attention of her loving caregivers.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.

Rose Barbara (Zimmerman) Wilhelmy was born February 8, 1911 in Richardton, North Dakota to Frans and Margaret (Wineburger) Zimmerman. She was a seamstress of 35 years and had a love for dolls. She was very artistic and enjoyed taking walks. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her son William Wilhelmy; niece Kay Bauer; other nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Blaine (Laura) Wilhelmy; Sherrene Wilhelmy; Tina Wilke; Dallas Wilhelmy; Craig (Tammy) Saeger; many great grandchildren. Preceded in death by; husband Arthur; daughter Sylvia (Conrad) Saeger; daughter-in-law, Jeanette; parents, Franz and Margaret Zimmerman and many brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank everybody at the Good Samaritan who had part in taking such great care of Rose.
