Ronald "Ron" McKibbon

Ronald “Ron” McKibbon, age 56, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2023, while surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home.

Ron worked as a mechanical engineer at CenterPoint Energy for many years. He will always be remembered for making people laugh with his endless jokes. Ron loved the MN Vikings and Fantasy Football, where he ran multiple leagues. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

Survived by son, Luke McKibbon; stepson, Shaun Tornow; parents, LeRoy and MaryAnn; siblings, Cheryl Ferrian, Tom, Tim (Trish), Rick (Stacey), Greg (Suzie), Carol (Bob) Greene, and LeeAnn (Jeff) Nelson; and many nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by infant sister, Angela; and niece, Gina Nelson.
