Robert P. Solberg

Robert P. Solberg, 83, of Cottage Grove, died peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roma; parents, C.O. and Emily Solberg; sister, Corrine Flascher; nephew, Derek Solberg; in-laws, Olaf and Gladys Hovda; and brother-in-law, Clayton Hovda.

Bob will be deeply missed by his beloved 4-legged princess, Yenta; his children, Maria (Andy Almeida) Feldman, Eric (Bree) Solberg, Tanya Solberg, Mark Pearson, and Maria (Paul Grobel) Michaels; grandchildren, Matthew Rutherford, Zachary Feldman, Raven Stoll, Tony (Yussell) Pearson, Alyssa (Mike) Jacobs, and Anna (Brandon) Johnson; great-grandchildren; siblings, Marianne (Lauren) Howard and Carl (Diane) Solberg; sister-in-law, Judy Hovda; brother-in-law, David (Ann) Hovda; and other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 16 at 11 AM with visitation from 10-11 AM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 400 9^th St. W, Hastings.  Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Wounded Warriors.
