Robert L. Schintz, 76, of Newport, died at his home on Sunday, April 8, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
Robert L. Schintz was born November 25, 1930 in Saint Paul, Minnesota the son of Lester and Elinor (Neumann) Schintz. He was employed as a machinist for the 3M Company for many years retiring in the mid 1980?s.
Bob especially enjoyed bowling and spending time at the cabin in Wisconsin.
He is survived by two sons; Philip of St. Paul & Raymond Schintz of Rochester, three daughters; Louise Stringer of Seattle, Washington, Linda Hart of California, Donna and her husband, Steven Wiersgalla of Newport, his brother, Tom and his wife, Barb Schintz of Minnesota and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Grace
and brother, Joel.
