Robert Rickel

Rickel, Robert Edgar U.S. Navy WWII Veteran USS Burleson Age 87 of Newport, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2005. Robert retired from Burlington Northern Railroad and was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Louise; brothers Ken, LeRoy, Glenn, and Gerald; and son Raymond. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Helen; children Robert (Karen), Marlys, William (Shirley), Frank, Mary (Adolph) Kuhn, Dan (Coral), Teresa (Eric) Nielsen; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Doris Sobaski, Marion Baskerville, Lois Schroeder; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the wonderful care received at United-John Nasseff Heart Hospital in St. Paul.
