Robert Miller

Robert "Bob" Miller, age 56 of Cottage Grove, formerly of Gretna, NE passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2015.

Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tues., June 16, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th Street S., Cottage Grove, MN. Private interment will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Elkhorn, Nebraska.

Robert "Bob" Mitchell Miller was born July 10, 1958 to Vince and Ruth (Langbein) Miller in Gretna, Nebraska where he graduated from high school in 1976. Bob worked for Cari Rentals in Lincoln, Nebraska where he also served as their vice-president. Bob was an avid golfer and loved sports. He always had a shoulder to lean on and was generous with his time. He genuinely cared about people, had a contagious smile and was known for his goofy, witty sense of humor.

Bob is survived by his wife Melinda; 3 children, Angie (Trevis) Kildare, Megan (Josh Everett) and Travis Miller; grandson, Cooper; father, Vince Miller; sisters, Sheree (Merlin) Harper, Julee (Jeff) Hopkins, Kristee (Mike) Stastny and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by mother, Ruth; brother, Jeff and previous wife, Kim.
