Robert LaBrosse

Robert P. LaBrosse, age 90 of Hastings, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away December 9, 2015.

Funeral mass will be 11 am, Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holly Ave, St. Paul Park, with visitation starting at 9:30. Interment will be held at a later date in Duluth, MN.

Robert Peter LaBrosse was born in Duluth on October 8, 1925 and worked for 42 years at the United Transportation Union. Robert proudly served his country with the US Army. He loved horseshoes, golf, gardening and cribbage and spending time with family & friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Mary, 12 brothers and sisters, daughter Renee LaBrosse Ichinose, granddaughter Breana Taylor and son-in-law John Nelson. Survived by wife of 60 years Betty, children Mary, Bob and Joyce, Jeanne, Michelle, Eugene, James, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
