Robert Kempton

Robert “Bob” S. Kempton, age 85, of Cottage Grove, MN passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Preceded in death by wife, Mary (nee McCann); parents, Chester and Selina (nee Trisko); and six brothers. Survived by children, Stephen, Jill (Dave) Woltering, and Daniel (Helen); foster son, Buu Van Trang; grandchildren, Stacy (Cody) Wilkens, Kristen (Dave) Kelm, Sandi (Ryan) Nielsen, Robert (Tina) Woltering, Nathan (Jessica) Woltering, Beth (Michael) Patterson, Robert (Heather) Kempton II, and Selina Kempton; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Chester (Helen); and sister, Barbara (Clyde) Van Buskirk.

Bob was an amazing man who loved strongly; he dedicated himself to his wife, family, and God.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment at Cottage Grove cemetery at a later date.
