Robert "Bob" Christenson Sr.

Robert "Bob" Christenson Sr., age 80 of Cottage Grove, MN passed away on April 2, 2025 surrounded by family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th Street S.; Cottage Grove, MN with a visitation from 10-11 AM. All are invited to a luncheon following the service. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.

Bob was born on June 15, 1944 to Mathew and Irene Christenson in St. Paul, MN. He had a long career as a prominent business owner working as a CPA in Hudson, Wisconsin for over 40 years. Through the years Bob was also a very active member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Cottage Grove. In his spare time he enjoyed following the Twins and St. Paul Saints baseball games. Bob will especially be missed by his family and friends for his humility and gentleness.

Bob is survived by son Bob Jr. (Kim); granddaughter Allyson and son Todd; grandchildren Kali, Jacob and Cassidy; great grandsons Lincoln and Nicholas. He is preceded in death by his wife Georgia; parents Mathew and Irene Christenson; siblings Mathew (Lorraine) and Lucille Christenson.
