Rita Ruiz

Loving Mother, Grandmother and Soulmate Age 48 of St. Paul Park unexpectedly passed away on April 13, 2013.

Rita Mae Ruiz was born June 7, 1964 in South St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Gary & Diane (Hostetler) Ruiz. Rita was a devoted mother, grandma, and dog-owner. She was obsessed with ebay and also enjoyed scratch-offs. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. Rita loved being out in the yard and gardening with John. She was a tissue donor.

Survived by the love of her life John "Greg" Wolf; loving mother & best friend of Tara & Keith Enger, and their father Kevin Enger; also survived by step daughters Jamie, Mandi and Maggie; grandchildren Jace, Hayden, Tyler, Madyson; mother Diane Ruiz; sisters Wanda, Linda, Brenda, Viann; brother 'Baby' Wayne; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Preceded in death by father Gary Ruiz; Waldo Enger 'dad'; brother-in-law Robert Noyola; Ron Autio; Ruby & Tramp.

Rita worked as a hall monitor for 14 years at Park High School where she touched many students and staff. She always said they were her second family.

Memorial Gathering 4-7 Friday at Park High School in Cottage Grove. Memorial service for immediate family & friends 12 Noon Saturday with gathering starting at 10 AM at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park. Memorials preferred.
