Rikke Kristine Ross, age 49, of Cottage Grove, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 22, 2016.
Rikke was born in Des Moines, IA on December 18, 1966 to Kenneth and Ellen Paulsen. She was a proud mother to sons Eric and Ben DuBois, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Rikke enjoyed spending summers at their family cabin in Milltown, WI, where she took pride in her flower and gardening skills. In addition, she also loved watching comedic sitcoms, movie quoting, and her dog, Mimi. Her vibrant smile, sense of humor and contagious laugh will forever be in our hearts.
Rikke is survived by husband Jan Hildebrand; two sons Eric DuBois (Nicole), Ben DuBois (Nakita); three stepchildren Joel Hildebrand, Jessica Kolupailo, Josh Hildebrand; grandchildren Delaney, Aubrey, Evan, and Gabby; mother Ellen Paulsen, sister Rebecca Paulsen (Jim); nephews Tanner, Grayson, and many other family and friends.
Rikke is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Paulsen and uncle Erik Ellgaard.
