42 to Harry and Viola (Schultze) Siem. He was raised in the Ormsby area and attended
St.
James
High School
. He married Darlene Rockvam in 1960. He spent the majority of his career as the owner of Siem’s
Bargain
Center
in
Lafayette
. When he wasn’t hunting for bargains he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a long time member of the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Reserve and the Lafayette Volunteer Fire and Ambulance crew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Darrell. He is survived by his daughters Tammy (Tim) Hickey of Cottage Grove, Lori Turpin of Allen, TX, Sherri (Charles) Navatta of The Colony, TX, Nicole Siem of The Colony, TX; grandchildren Kristin, Stacy, and Katie Hickey, Brooke Gibson, Chaz Navatta and Alexzandra Willingham former spouse Dalene Siem, sister-in-law Sandy Lindgren, nephews Rick and Randy Siem and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at
2 PM
on Saturday May 2
nd
at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm (507-354-2312). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A private burial will be held at a later date.
