Richard “Dick” Allen Graf, age 90 of St. Paul Park, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Dick was born on October 29, 1932, in Lewisville, MN, to Carl and Marjorie (Clow) Graf. He was raised on the family farm in Lewisville until the family moved to Bertha, MN, when Dick was 15 years old.
Dick was a proud US Army Veteran. He was drafted in July of 1954 and honorably discharged in February of 1956. He was stationed at Camp Nunenham in Anchorage, Alaska, and worked as a SCARWAF Engineer.
After leaving the Army, Dick married the love of his life, Rosemary (Sitzman) Graf, on December 16, 1956. Dick then attended Dunwoody Technical College in Minneapolis to study welding. He was employed at Armours Meat Packing as a welder for 27 years.
Dick is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Terry (Sheryl), Kathy (Chip), Kim (Tim), Rich (Dawn), and Barb (Shawn); 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Carl (Edith).
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th Street South, Cottage Grove, MN) with visitation beginning at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Andrews Lutheran Church in St. Paul Park and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
