Regina Suski

Regina Suski age 92, of Newport passed away Friday morning, March 9, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul. Regina was born on May 30, 1919 the daughter of Anthony and Clara Jasicki in Strickland, Wisconsin. She later moved to Minnesota with her husband John. She married John Suski in Weyerhaeuser, WI and they later moved to Minnesota. She worked for many years at Peters Meatpacking Company in St. Paul. Regina loved fishing, gardening, canning fruits and vegetables, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a caring person who will be missed.
Regina is survived by her loving children; Susanne (Ed), Karen (Don) and Tom; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her sister Mary Clare. She is preceded by her husband; John; 6 brothers; 6 sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Remember me in the garden, remember me in the boat, I loved you all so dearly.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 with visitation at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to service at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave, St. Paul Park. Private interment will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
